As Gloucester’s first microbrewery, Gloucester Brewing Company was started by owner Mike Brewer who turned a passion project into an entire store and brewery on Main Street. In store or via their website, you’ll find many varieties of beer, including “John Beere” (a cream ale), “DeadRYEz” (a rye ale), and “Shucking Good” (an oyster stout).

Found in Whitemarsh (10 minutes from Gloucester Main Street), That Damn Mary prides themselves on their individuality, their sustainability, and, of course, their beer. Despite having been founded only two years ago, That Damn Mary already has numerous beers available including “Oh Mama!” (a milk stout) and “Morning Glory” (a coffee IPA).
